Then, encourage your contacts to update their preferences so they subscribe to the email groups they are most excited about and tell you what sports or genres they are most interested in. This will help you reach the right audience with the right offers.
In 2025, I will: Be more strategic with how I segment
Do not rely solely on past purchases to create your segments. Use email group subscriptions, interest fields, zip codes, as well as recent web visits and form submits to identify the best audience for your campaigns. For example, if you are promoting a last-minute offer for a comedy show tomorrow night, look for contacts who are interested in Comedy and live in a zip code within a small radius of your venue. By being more intentional who you send your messages to, you will improve your engagements rates and decrease your opt outs.

One of the easiest bad habits to fall into is not resizing your images for email. Not only are larger file sizes harder for devices to load and display correctly, they are also more likely to get flagged as spam, which over time can have a negative impact on your sending reputation. As you head into the New Year, be sure any image you use is no larger than 600 pixels wide.
