Paciolan will provide Zips fans with an integrated fan engagement platform that enhances the fan experience through every aspect of the customer journey, from marketing, mobile ticketing, and digital access to events. Akron will also leverage Paciolan’s ticketing system to host community events in their venues on campus.

Zips fans will have the opportunity to complete all ticketing transactions through a seamless process by using Paciolan’s industry-leading mobile ticketing technology. Fans can purchase mobile tickets, receive them instantly via text delivery, and scan their mobile ticket at the venue. They can also easily manage their tickets via mobile transfer or exchange through the integrated account management feature.
Paciolan will also integrate into Akron’s official athletics website and mobile app, powered by SIDEARM Sports, to provide a broad range of convenient and contextualized ticketing links throughout the site, including their schedule pages. These integrations make it easy for fans to see the remaining ticket inventory, pricing, and availability for upcoming events.
The Akron Athletics staff will tap into Paciolan’s full service and centralized support to set up and manage athletics events throughout this relationship. In addition, these services come with built-in fraud monitoring and protection to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activity.

The University of Akron’s athletics staff will also benefit from Paciolan’s strategic services and support. Akron staff will have access to the highly experienced client partner, ecommerce operations specialist, and marketing specialist. In addition, they will ensure best practices are used on all Paciolan tools’ extensive use.
Paciolan now provides ticketing and services to five of the six Mid-American Conference teams in Ohio.
