The email encourages recipients to share their milestone on social media by directing them to a webpage with a shareable photo and simple instructions. This campaign achieved a unique open rate of 23%. 

Milestone Giving Campaign: Washington State introduced a milestone giving campaign to celebrate donors’ commitment every fifth anniversary (5, 10, 15, 20 years, etc.). Automated emails trigger on these milestone years, thanking donors for their loyalty and encouraging them to share their commitment on social media by directing them to a webpage with a shareable photo and simple instructions. This campaign achieved a unique open rate of 42%. 



Lapsed Donor Thank You Campaign: Washington State launched an automated campaign to thank previously lapsed donors for renewing their support. The email encouraged fans to share their commitment on social media, directing them to a webpage with a shareable photo and simple instructions.  This campaign achieved a unique open rate of 36%.
