Eloqua UI: How to Access Reports in Oracle Analytics

As Oracle transitions from Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) to Oracle Analytics (OA), users are noticing significant changes in the interface and how reports are accessed. This shift not only introduces a more modern, intuitive design but also enhances the overall user experience with streamlined navigation, improved self-service capabilities, and AI-powered insights. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to access familiar reports like the Email Analysis Overview and detail the key changes Oracle Analytics offers, empowering you to leverage the new system effectively.

One of the first things you'll notice about Oracle Analytics is the new interface. We've gone from this..

To this!

At first glance, the Oracle Analytics interface may appear as though some information is missing. However, rest assured that the reports you're familiar with are still available—they're simply organized differently. To navigate to standard email reports like the Email Analysis Overview and Email Clickthrough Overview, select 'Catalog' in the top right corner of the page.

You’ll then see 'Folders' expand on the left-hand side. From there, select 'Shared Folders'.

With Shared Folders selected, you’ll now see the familiar reports. Navigate to the 'Email' folder, where you’ll find all associated reports.

From there, accessing a report remains unchanged. Simply select 'Open,' enter the relevant information (such as Time Span and Emails to Display), and click 'OK.' The report will then open for your review.

You'll follow the same instructions to navigate to reports like Website Overview.

To access Company Shared or custom reports from the Analytics homepage, click on 'Open' in the top right corner of the page. A pop-up window will appear.

From there, navigate to the Shared Folders section, select the Company Shared folder, and locate the folder with the abbreviated name of your organization. Within this folder, you will find the reports and files you need.

As you navigate the transition from Oracle Business Intelligence to Oracle Analytics, remember that your familiar reports are still just a few clicks away. While the new interface may take some getting used to, it offers a more intuitive experience designed to enhance your reporting capabilities. We encourage you to explore the various folders and reports available, and take advantage of the streamlined navigation.

And speaking of changing interfaces...

Oracle Eloqua Redwood experience is coming!

Starting in November 2024, you’ll notice a fresh new look in the Eloqua UI. As shown above, the homepage will feature the Redwood Experience—a sleek, modern interface designed for improved efficiency and usability. This update brings a more visually engaging design and includes enhanced features that make navigation smoother and more intuitive.

After November 2024, you will have the option to toggle back to the existing Eloqua UI if you prefer. However, the Redwood Experience will be the default—and eventually the only—interface in 2025, with the exact transition date to be announced. We encourage you to start exploring the Redwood Experience now to ensure a smooth adjustment and avoid surprises when it becomes the standard.

To turn on the Redwood experience:

Open the Oracle Eloqua hamburger menu.

From the menu, select the Use Redwood Experience setting.

You'll then see the new interface!

As we look ahead to the launch of the Redwood Experience, we’re excited about the fresh, modern interface it brings to Oracle Eloqua and the enhanced user-friendliness it offers. We encourage you to take some time to explore both the new analytics features and the upcoming Redwood interface—there’s a lot to discover! If you have any questions or need help navigating these updates, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Marketing Automation representative. Happy exploring and reporting!
