The Iowa Events Center is a four-venue, multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex anchored by the 17,000 seat Wells Fargo Arena and the historic 10,000 seat Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
The complex is the premier venue in central Iowa, featuring a blend of concerts and regional athletic events including the Iowa Stars hockey team. Management wanted to offer customers a world-class ticketing experience by implementing the New Era Tickets system, Powered by Paciolan.
With this new system, the Iowa Events Center was able to:
- Generate incremental revenues
- Sell more tickets via the Internet
- Better control the brand and business
- Enhance the customer experience
With the New Era Tickets System, powered by Paciolan, we set our own fees and reap the financial upside of controlling those fees. It allows us to be aggressive in generating revenues without price gouging our customers. This system has contributed a tremendous amount of revenue that was not realized by the arena before.
