
The Scotiabank Place, an 18,500 seat arena, and the NHL’s Ottawa Senators wanted to identify additional revenue opportunities as their three primary sources (ticketing, TV and sponsorships) hit a ceiling. Their ticketing provider extracted the lion’s share of ticket fees, hence directly selling tickets to their customers was viewed as a significant new revenue opportunity.
By adopting an “in-house” solution, the Senators/Scotiabank Place were able to:
